Welcome to Of Rock and Chalk -York Region’s Premier Climbing Gym!
Indoor rock climbing is fun for the whole family. Come and join us any day of the week for a fun, exciting challenge!
Are you looking for kids rock climbing lessons, team building activities for your corporate group or youth group, summer and March break camp. We have you covered.
Located in the heart of Newmarket
Come climb our walls!
We offer over 46 routes, with heights varying from 10 to 37 feet as well as simulated rock faces, chimney climbing, crack climbing, top rope and lead climbing areas.
Our gym also has 10 auto belay systems allowing climbers to come in on their own and participate on our high walls. The auto belay takes up the slack as the climber ascends and safely controls the descent when the climber lets go or falls. To learn more about this system check out TRUBLUE
Need to know!
SUPERVISION:
Climbers under the age of 12 must be supervised at all times by another person who is at least 16 years of age. Supervision must be direct and involved and climbers must remain in the same room as their supervisor at all times. It is recommended that you bring additional supervisors for groups larger than 4
